Job Summary –

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled AWS Cloud and IT Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), coupled with a strong understanding of overall IT infrastructure architecture.

Years of experience needed – 9 – 14 years.

Technical Skills:

1. Cloud Architecture Design:

 Develop comprehensive AWS cloud architecture solutions that align with business objectives and requirements.

 Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure to meet current and future needs.

2. Infrastructure Planning and Optimization:

 Assess existing IT infrastructure and propose optimizations for migration to the cloud.

 Collaborate with stakeholders to understand infrastructure requirements and plan for capacity, performance, and cost optimization.

3. AWS Services Implementation:

 Implement and configure AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and others, based on best practices and security standards.

4. Security and Compliance:

 Develop and implement security best practices for AWS environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

 Conduct regular security audits and implement measures to safeguard data and applications.

5. Monitoring and Automation:

 Implement monitoring and ing solutions for cloud infrastructure.

 Develop and deploy automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.

6. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

 Design and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for cloud-based applications and services.

7. Collaboration and Communication:

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure the successful delivery of cloud solutions.

 Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing guidance and recommendations.

8. Documentation:

 Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, configuration, and procedures.

 Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.

9. Infrastructure Planning and Design:

 Develop comprehensive infrastructure architecture plans aligning with business objectives and technology requirements.

 Design and document solutions for data centers, networks, servers, storage, and related infrastructure components.

10. Technology Evaluation:

 Evaluate new and emerging technologies to determine their potential impact on the organization's infrastructure.

 Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for adopting new technologies.

11. Capacity Planning:

 Assess current and future capacity needs of the infrastructure and plan for scalability.

 Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business growth projections and align infrastructure accordingly.

12. Security Architecture:

 Design and implement security architecture for the entire IT infrastructure.

 Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.

13. Network Architecture:

 Design and optimize network architecture, including WAN, LAN, and wireless networks.

 Collaborate with network engineers to ensure efficient and secure data flow.

14. Server and Storage Architecture:

 Architect server environments, including virtualization and containerization solutions.

 Design storage solutions considering performance, redundancy, and scalability.

15. Participate in P1/P2 outages and help team when needed.
